Sherwood Park Rvers are based in Sherwood Park, Alberta. The club was established in January of 2002. In April of 2023, we changed our name from the Sherwood Forest Samers to Sherwood Park Rvers and are now part of the provincial group: Alberta Rvers Association. Our rig count has been around 50 for the past few years and we are always seeking additional members.
We are an active Chapter involved in Provincial Campouts, in both Alberta and Saskatchewan. We have camped in Sangudo, Watrous Saskatchewan, Rolling Hills, Hanna, Wild Mountain Music Festival, plays at Rosebud, Meadow Lake Provincial Park St Paul Rodeo and Sedgewick. We camp and do volunteer work at Miquelon Lake and Malaig (Haying in the 30’s). We gather for social events such as bowling, theatre shows, wiener roasts and bocce. Chapter meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month – except June to August inclusive – in the evening at Glenwood Memorial Gardens in Sherwood Park. On the 4 Saturday of each month a large percentage of our membership meet for breakfast and socializing.
